I had 2 odd paths I could have taken after graduating from high university.
At the time it felt prefer the largest decision of our life… and twenty years later, I have to say that it truly was the largest decision of our life! Some things know important when you are young, but when you get some age and experience you realize how deranged it was.
My choice of whether or not to go to university, or go to trade university and beginning working right away, still has consequences to this particularly day. I chose Heating and Air Conditioning work over going to the school, and even twenty years later I’m ecstatic I made the right choice! All of our friends who went to university came back with crushing student loan debt, something I avoided truly with our Heating and Air Conditioning training. Some of these people got good jobs, and university paid off for them, but more often than not they got menial jobs and spent years trying to spend money down those loans. Heating and Air Conditioning training, including the night classes I took to prepare for the certification process, only costs a small fraction of what university tuition will cost. I was able to become an apprentice for a local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, so I got field experience while I was still in training. I was able to hit the ground running and beginning our work free of debt. It only took me 5 years to save up enough money to beginning a little Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance corporation of our own. None of this would have been possible if I went to university.
