My spouse entirely gives myself and others a strenuous time these afternoons when I say I’m cold.
This was never the case when I was younger.
I was always the one who wanted all the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling he could get. Now in our early sixties, I’m stunned by the change of our body when it comes to temperature sensitivity. To that end, I’m so glad we ditched the gas oil furnace for the heat pump down here in the south. This was one of the best choices we ever made, however given the way I am about cold now, I don’t know I could have even survived another Wintertide up north. The heat pump in our current locale hardly even has to come on for heating in the winter. I do flip the temperature control over to heating about Thanksgiving but it might not come on for weeks. My spouse, on the other hand, enjoys the Wintertide here because the air conditioning system is generally off. Heat season is from June through September and it is much tougher on his than it is on me. I’m grateful to have fantastic Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling they comes from are current residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C. but our spouse entirely needs more Heating, Ventilation plus A/C than I do. It’s a bit of a balancing act for the both of us during the summer. I try to save on Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling costs and our spouse wants more. But as this time of year rolls around, I’m the one whining about needing more heating. It seems the older I get, the thinner our blood is getting. It’s still in the seventies during the afternoon here in October. But I’ve broken out a sweatshirt a few times already.
