For me, less is more when it comes to all the modern tech in our life. I’m thankful for various aspects of tech however it can also just be a bit overwhelming. For sure, technology makes our life far more convenient, yet, I’m still a bit cautious when it comes to technology as it applies to all the things in our life. I still like to count on our own mind when I can! And I also do not absolutely need every new tech gadget. It has something to do with the fact that it took myself and others this long to get a smart climate control unit. If it had been up to our partner, both of us would have had a smart climate control unit long ago. Actually though, both of us were both waiting on that initial Heating & A/C tech to be refined, neither 1 of us wanted to spend a bunch of currency on a smart climate control unit only to have it be obsolete the next year. So both of us did wait & I continued to be the 1 on climate control unit patrol. But recently, both of us took the plunge & called the Heating & A/C supplier to send out a Heating & A/C specialist to install a smart climate control unit. I just wish I knew then what I think now when it comes to this sort of Heating & A/C tech. I would have done this far sooner. The Heating & A/C specialist provided the smart climate control unit basic parameters, and from there, it’s been basically on its own. I just let the smart climate control unit do its thing & both of us saved more than 15% on Heating & A/C cooling this summer, obviously, the smart climate control unit does a much better job of maintaining climate control unit discipline than I do. And it’s absolutely a piece of tech that I can appreciate without it being in our face.
