My spouse and I went to a truly great jazz concert the other weekend.
The songs were great, the location perfect, and most of all the air conditioning was great! Having perfect indoor comfort is important at concerts.
And with the temperatures as hot as they have been lately, outside, having great air conditioning inside the venue was truly a godsend, not only for us in the audience, but for the jazz band as well. I can only imagine how tough it must be to play with horrible air conditioning when it is too hot out. Some places will cancel the shows if it’s too hot and they don’t have adequate air conditioning, until they can upgrade their commercial heating and cooling units. That is how important air conditioning and heating are at high class concert locales that offer jazz and classical shows. It is not like some wild outdoor rock concert where all the people are on drugs and don’t know if it’s hot or cold. It’s a completely different scenario. I am just glad my spouse and I chose a place that had everything under control with air comfort, because I have been in locales that were horribly uncomfortable. It was no fun whatsoever being in those places!
