Right after I got out of high school, I decided I wanted to become an HVAC technician.
It was not something I had any experience with, although I had watched my grandpa for years; he was a heating and air conditioning professional.
I looked for the best school to go to in order to get training for certification as a heating and cooling technician. At this vocational school, I learned everything about heating and cooling, enough to pass my final exam and get my certification. I found a job with a quality HVAC company, and my first day on the job went very well. I was a natural, and it all came together as if I was working on these complex systems for years! I still could benefit from learning more information about this exciting trade, but I know enough to be able to work in the field and repair and install brand new up-to-date central heating and cooling systems. I am ecstatic I did what I did, that I chose this career for myself. Deep down, I think this has been what i have been wanting most of my life. Now that it is finally here, I truly appreciate all of the aspects of it; I will do well as a certified heating and cooling specialist.
