When I moved into my sister’s spare bedroom, I was just grateful for a place to stay. I was going through a horrible time in my life, but she was willing to let me stay until I got my feet back on the ground. Thankfully, I was only there for a month before I was able to move out again. While I was there though, I grew to appreciate the ductless mini split system that she had in the guest bedroom. The ductless unit ran off of electricity and it was installed directly above my bed. At first, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the ductless unit because I was used to a central AC system with air vents. I assumed that the ductless unit would be unable to cool the bedroom to my liking and that it would only cool a small, designated area. To my surprise, the ductless system kept my bedroom the perfect temperature, and it was easy to feel comfortable. The temperature of my bedroom was perfect during my month-long stay at my sister’s house, and I found myself missing it when I moved out. Once I got settled into my new place, I immediately purchased a ductless mini split unit for my own bedroom. I wanted to cool the space exactly as I experienced at my sister’s house and this was the only way to do it!
