When I told dad about our content deal on the ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, she laughed

I didn’t want everything for free, however I knew what I wanted. I would not purchase a new Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan plus not get any perks. I knew our ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan required less maintenance than a tradition central Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I also knew the ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan was more efficient than traditional Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems. I was told there were still going to be air filters that needed to be changed, plus I would need to have it cleaned once a year. I wanted to make sure I had a maintenance agreement that covered all the cleanings, air filter fluctuations, plus repairs that you would get with a traditional Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. I knew I would genuinely need to spend our money more for our maintenance agreement, however I didn’t care. I also wanted to find out if I could have a smart thermostat with our new ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. The worker told me she didn’t guess that could be a problem, however she wanted to check back with the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company before giving me a positive yup. After more than one mornings, they gave me everything I wanted. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company owner told me she would give me a complete maintenance plus repair agreement, plus it was would cost less. Since there were fewer repairs plus maintenance, she didn’t guess it would be tolerable for him to charge me extra. When I told dad about our content deal on the ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, she laughed. She told me I drove a strenuous bargain that was strenuous to resist. I knew she was teasing me, because I got nothing extra.

I can’t explain why, but when the two of us had the new air conditioner unit installed, I didn’t like how it looked.

I told Dad plus dad they were going to need to paint it somehow cover it up. I would not bring our friends to a condo that had such a hideous piece of Heating, Ventilation & A/C component out where most people could see it. My sister thought I was being absurd plus asked if I would transfer out if the AC unit stayed? I hesitated plus then stood tall plus said yup. I would transfer out if the ugly AC unit stayed. She had the audacity to tell me that as long as the cute redhead kept coming around, me plus our friends didn’t need to show our ugly faces around the house. I told dad what she said, plus dad laughed. Her comment was that the redhead was cute, however she wasn’t changing her mind about the air conditioner unit. They were all the same, except in size, plus I had a dorm room I could live in. I ran to our Dad plus cried on her shoulder. I sniffled out the story about our sister plus father, plus how all I wanted was an air conditioner unit that was a little nicer, plus she laughed, but she told me that all air conditioner units were basically the same. Since our friends plus I mostly hang out around the pool, I would never need to look at it. If just the program of having that AC unit around was angryting me, I could transfer into the dorm. They were all against me.

We are all now just driving back from our road trip to the mountain and the automobile is all steamed up from all of the wet clothes on us.

Our driver just pulled off of the road because none of us can see a thing while driving and all of us are on a twisting and turning road on a mountain.

I told her to try and turn on the HVAC unit to see if it dries the air, however it seems as if it is not keeping up with the task. Every one of us went swimming in a warm spring after skiing and I believe all of our clothes are wet and keeping the humidity up too high in the car. I asked the HVAC tech, who is sitting in the front seat next to the driver, if there is another way to detach the moisture from the air. She said the best way is to run the heat and open the windows just a little bit. I believe all of us need to just get a towel and use it to dry the windshield every now and then. I am not a heating and cooling expert by any means, however sometimes the first solution is the best solution. So now we all are looking for a dry towel in the automobile, however we don’t seem to be having any luck with that either. There is a local company a minute or two up the road and I believe we all should just stop there for a while till all of us find a solution. The best thing would be if we had a dryer to dry the clothes.

I have to write four more articles and am trying to get them done before all of us get home as we are planning a long evening of Monopoly with our ski group.

I was going to bring my drum and play with our bandmate, however there wasn’t enough room so I had to leave it behind. We all will practice songs after the game tonight for a little bit and then hop in our beds for a much needed sleep. There is a fireplace in the room where we are staying and I am going to build a nice fire instead of turning on the central HVAC system. I can’t feel my feet right now in the automobile because they got wet and are frigid and numb now. I would appreciate having some heating equipment under my feet right now to warm them up a bit. The great news is there is a warm shower waiting for me back home and I am going to be the first one to hop in it. They have a substantial hot water heating system tank and I am hoping all of us have enough warm water for everyone to take a warm shower with. I believe we should limit the time in the tub to under five minutes per person or there may not be enough warm water for us all. I was going to adjust the smart thermostat on the HVAC plan before we left even though I forgot to do so. I may turn the heat up on the hot water heating system also as soon as all of us get back. All in all it’s been a fun time.

It can happen suddenly, you get lost and end up dead in one evening. This is what almost happened the other evening while doing a little trip to the warm Springs on the border of France. I’ve faced death a few times in life and this one was right there with the other times, even though I somehow got out of this one alive too. I am going back to our little town tomorrow, even though I will remember this fun trip and all of the absurd things that came with it. In just two afternoons I’ll be working at the HVAC company doing my normal heating and cooling component repairs and thinking about this trip all of us just did. I will be taking another trip over the Atlantic Ocean soon and heading for another adventure back in our hometown. My buddy has a new HVAC company back home and was asking me if I could help him do some commercial cooling upgrades, and I told him yes of course I could. I can tell him all about our fun trip to the mountains with our friends and how I almost ended up being a landmark on that mountain for other hikers to take pictures of. I have a new appreciation for heating and fireplaces in homes after being so frigid for so long on that mountain that one evening. I believe next time I go hiking I am going to bring a compass and a tent so if I get lost I can just make a new home and sleep for the evening. Oh, and I would also bring a little gas space heater!

I just wanted a warm fireplace in the new home with a large comforter wrapped around me.

I just took a trip to the warm Springs and we all lost our heat on the way here. That was nothing compared to what almost happened on the way back though. I took off early from the warm Spring because it was getting dark and the path back was quite treacherous. After about 15 minutes of walking back I realized I was going the wrong way, so I turned around and went back to meet the group. When I got back though the group was gone and it was just me by myself. My HVAC rep buddy had my phone and that was going to be our light to see, so now I was lost with no light and no phone to call. I kept calm even though I knew I would not survive the sub zero evening with no heating equipment or tent. Luckily, I spotted some lights above me to the left, far above me, and I yelled and whistled and they heard me because the lights were flashing back at me. I just wanted a warm fireplace in the new home with a large comforter wrapped around me. So I ran and caught up with the group, and all of us made it back to safety. I thought about that mountain when I got home and realized if I did get lost, and had no type of furnace or space heating equipment to keep me warm, I would have ended up frozen by the time afternoon rolled around. It was five below zero that evening I heard on the weather forecast the next afternoon.

Every one of us is now in an automobile taking a little trip to the thermal baths on the Spanish and French borders.

I believe we will be on the road for just a minute or two and I am going to try and knock out these articles so I can enjoy the view of the mountains on the way back.

The local company where I toil back home gave me some afternoons off from my duct cleaning job and I am enjoying them to the fullest. Today is our last full afternoon of this trip and it should be a fun one, as I have never been to a thermal bath for a swim. I normally swim in the frigid sea back home, so this will be a welcome change for me. Come Sunday I will be back in the heating and cooling corp doing our toil once again and remembering this fun trip. It is kind of cool that I can do my side work with these articles and make a bit of money while all of us are on the road. This world has changed a lot in the past 50 years hasn’t it? You used to have to toil at the local company each afternoon and get there by horse and carriage in a vehicle which has no HVAC system. Now I am working in our heated car, traveling at 78 miles an hour, and having fun while making money on the road. The temps are below zero outside, however with the amazing heating system in this car, all of us are all comfy and ecstatic on our journey.

The pandemic actually took a toll on our economy, and many of the small companies in our area did not survive the lockdown. The pandemic was an unprecedented event that nobody saw coming and some company owners were left to fend for themselves. There was some help from the federal government in the form of a stimulus, however some companies still suffered grave consequences and had to permanently close their doors. While some companies did not survive, there were others that thrived and even saw growth while in the pandemic era. The HVAC industry has been steadily growing over the years, however it did see significant growth while in the lockdown. With more people working from home, it meant they were using their HVAC units more than before. And as with any equipment, the increased use led to more malfunctions. Not to mention that while in quarantine, we experienced some of our warmest months, so a lot of HVAC units broke down during that time. Personally, I have an older HVAC unit, and sure enough it broke down about three months after I began to work from home. The capacitor, which is an electrical component responsible for starting the HVAC unit, malfunctioned, and prior to that incident I had never had an issue with our unit. Turns out that the capacitor is sensitive to heat and will fail from direct sunlight or if the component is running too hard. So, it was inevitable for that malfunction to happen while in the pandemic times. Therefore, if our component broke, there were tons of other units that experienced issues while in that timeframe. This means that work increased for HVAC companies all over the country.

I have since moved out of that city, so I have been using a central HVAC component ever since.

I grew up in the northern area of the country where the temperature gets pretty frigid during the winter months. And when I was a child, our house was constantly warm and toasty in the colder season. We used a radiator that was connected to a boiler as our heat source while in the winter months. Unfortunately, the house that all of us lived in did not have central heating or cooling. In fact, most houses and buildings in the neighborhood did not have central heating or cooling equipment. When the houses and buildings were constructed, central HVAC was not a common thing that was used inside those homes. So, as well as the radiator that all of us used for heat in the winter, we had window cooling units that we used to keep cool while in the summertime months. Back then life was much more simple, and I was grateful that our house had heat and cooling. I have since moved out of that city, so I have been using a central HVAC component ever since. And of course, it’s a luxury to have cooling and heating components in our home. More than three of those residents that live in the neighborhood that I grew up in still don’t have the same luxuries. In fact, unless the building or new home is a newly built structure, chances are the residents are still relying on a radiator for heat and a window cooling unit for cooling in the summertime. When you live in the city you get used to those options, as it wasn’t until I moved out that I realized how much more comfort an HVAC component provides for a home.

With Christmas around the corner, I am getting excited for the season. Every year our parents host dinner at their home, and this means all our sisters and their kids will gather to celebrate the holiday. There will be over 18 people in the house and it will be noisy and chaotic, however our parents undoubtedly appreciate it. They appreciate having their grandkids running throughout the house on Christmas afternoon and they like it when all of us light the fireplace and rest around it while we watch the kids open their gifts. Sitting by the fireplace has become a yearly tradition for us, and it is something that all of us all look forward to. I like hearing the crackling of the flames and I appreciate the warm and cozy feeling I get while sitting in front of it. It’s a wood burning fireplace, so our sisters and father make sure that it is clean before they light it. And truthfully, our parents rarely use the fireplace when they are home. They use it twice per year, once for Thanksgiving and the other for Christmas. So, the fireplace is not filthy or filled with soot or buildup, however they like to be safe, and will clean it out before and after each use. They also check the chimney and the cap to make sure neither of them have any issues. Once they are done checking, they will light the fireplace so that all of us can enjoy it. While the fireplace adds ambiance to the home, it is also a source for heat. When we have it lit, we constantly adjust the temperature on the thermostat. I am looking forward to sitting around the fireplace again this year.

With the rising cost of everything, I have decided to conserve energy in our new home so that I could save some money. My plan is to use a space heating system instead of using our central heating. I must disclose that I am a bit wary about using a space heating system because it does have a long reputation for causing fires. Of course, a lot of times those fires are perhaps due to negligence or misuse of the heating system, however that doesn’t stop me from being worried about them. Modern gas furnaces should be used as a supplement to central heating and not as a main source of heat, but more than two people use them as a primary way to heat their homes. I understand why, because it costs a lot more money to heat our homes in the winter months. There are two types of space heaters: kerosene and electric heaters. Kerosene furnaces are a bit more dangerous and tend to be the cause of most of the space heating system related fires, however if a space heating system is used properly, there should be little to no issues. For instance, you should never leave a space heating system unattended, and you should constantly keep it in an open section away from furniture or anything hanging, such as curtains. Although a kerosene heating system has the capability of heating a house, because it can produce up to 20,000 BTU of heat, it is not proposed to use the heating system as a main heating source. Personally, I will be using an electric space heater, because the thought of having a kerosene burning component in our new home does not sound like a great plan to me.
