As the weather starts to get colder, it’s time to get my furnace inspected.
I called a heating and cooling systems contractor, and they sent a specialist out to take a look at our system. He inspected the air handler, compressor, and thermostat. The specialist reported that everything looked great and that our system was running efficiently. He did request that I get our HVAC system serviced every year to keep it running well. I am glad I called this HVAC company; they were able to come out and repair the system hastily and efficiently. They also provided me with some tips on how to keep it running smoothly so I don’t have any complications in the future. This was nice of him. I asked him if he could schedule another appointment now for some time down the road, just so we make sure the HVAC system continues to run well. I’m glad I got a repair plan when I purchased the component years ago, because it has saved me a lot of potential headaches from happening due to neglect. We get some really long winters in this town, and if you don’t have dependable heat to keep you warm, winter seems like an eternity. I have a small fireplace in the kitchen that I have used before to keep me warm when our heat went out, but I don’t like sleeping on the sofa. The heat from the fireplace doesn’t make it to the kitchen on the other side of the house, so that is why I slept on the sofa. Hopefully I won’t have to do that again!
