I had our first girlfriend when I was 18 years old.
I moved out of my parents house and I lived with her for 2 years, and when we broke up, I moved in with some friends.
I was never really alone until just recently. It is an absolutely new experience for me. I am living in an area where the temperatures are already getting cold, but the leaves on the trees are starting to fall. They have already turned red, gold, orange, and brown. I have to run the furnace at night, because it’s only 30° at 2:00 in the afternoon. The furnace makes a different sound and it can be a little frightening in the middle of the night when I am asleep. The sound has been getting louder and louder and I feel like the furnace is going to jump out of the wall. I contacted our property owner and I told that guy that the furnace was making a different sound. He assured me that it was perfectly normal for that furnace to make that noise. I fully expect to wake up in the middle of the night without any heat since the property owner refuses to address the noises that I am hearing. It can’t be something good since the sounds are getting louder and louder. I suppose I just have to wait for the furnace to break down all together before the property owner will do anything about it. I spend several hundred dollars each month for rent and I wish the guy was more proactive with repairs.
