This trusted saying is something I totally believe in.
This saying came in handy when I first went to school to become a certified heating and cooling systems specialist. My first go-round, I failed the final exam, so I couldn’t get my certification! Rather than going to work in some store or a stressful call center, making minimum wage the rest of my life, I decided to reinvest my money and take another shot. Well, the next time was a charm! I passed my final exam, and today I am one of the top heating and cooling systems specialists in this area. I work as an independent heating and cooling specialist, owning our own little HVAC company. Had I given up, none of this would have happened. Would I have become a bum on the street? Probably! It was worth every penny to pay double to take the course twice. Because they teach so fast in vocational school, I just wasn’t able to keep up. I needed more time to learn everything that I needed to, in order to get that HVAC certification. So, take this as a lesson, to never give up at whatever you try to do. Even if you fail a few times, the next time you’ll pass!
