I’m not much of a gambler.
There are a few reasons for this.
The largest reason is I don’t appreciate taking risks that I can’t control or fully understand. And then there is the fact that I just don’t have the stomach for gambling. I’d much rather sit inside the a/c as well as appreciate a great book than bet on a game or something appreciate that. But I took a huge gamble with the heat pump as well as it just didn’t go our way. I should have known better than gambling on anything really much less the quality heating as well as air in our house. Well, the heating wasn’t the issue. The HVAC professional came out to do the a/c tune-up last Springtime. That’s when she told myself and others that both of us were close to the end on the life of the heat pump. Of course, she couldn’t predict just when exactly. But that heat pump was not going to get fixed again if it broke down. That made sense but our wife as well as I hadn’t exactly been saving for a new HVAC unit. Actually, both of us did beginning saving for it but ended up raiding that savings account to spend our savings for other household needs. The people I was with and I needed more time to save for the new HVAC unit. So both of us rolled the dice that we’d get through the summer. Where both of us live, the Winter time isn’t much at all as well as so if both of us could get through summer, we’d have plenty of time to save. That wasn’t the case as the heat pump bit the dust in mid July. But the HVAC business had our backs as well as both of us were able to agree to great financing terms.
