The change in weather was certainly way down the list of potential challenges when I was considering the modern job.
The largest challenge would be leaving the zone controlled office where I had worked for the better area of a decade.
It was going to be weird not to be laboring alongside all those great people I had known for such a long time. The thought that I was going from air conditioning system to heating as being the main focus of Heating & A/C was not that immense a concern. Well, I took that job and I moved way up north. This was the first time that I had truly struck out alone. When I went to college, I went almost locally. I even lived in the quality heating and air of our parent’s house for the first multiple years. Even the job I landed with all that zone controlled Heating & A/C wasn’t but an hour from where I grew up and lived through college. So this was a immense deal. Of course, I truly focused on the labor for the first more than five months or so. And that truly paid off as the team saw our skills and trust was built. I even commented multiple times that I the Summer was so much better up here. There wasn’t that immense need for Heating & A/C cooling prefer there was back home. And then, the Winter hit. I have to say that I am just now getting over the shock and surprise of just how chilly a northern Winter can truly be. Thankfully, our modern locale came with brand modern residential Heating & A/C. The gas furnace I have is awesome and pumps out the Heating & A/C heating I so need. And the Heating & A/C technology with this gas furnace also makes it super efficient.
