When our spouse and I decided to sell our house and buy an RV, a lot of our friends and family thought that the two of us were crazy.
I did not know it was crazy at all. I thought the two of us were taking life by the horns. After covid scared all of us, I realized that life is short! Why should our spouse and I wait until the two of us are old and gray to really beginning enjoying our life? I know that is absolutely deranged and I’m so blissful that the two of us made the decision to follow our dreams. When the two of us started looking for an rv, the two of us knew that our choice in vehicles was going to be important. We had a vehicle that was only capable of hauling a tent. We knew the two of us were going to have to get rid of the vehicle and buy a truck. We ended up with a diesel truck, however the old diesel truck was cheap, however it needed a lot of work and performance updates. I took the truck to a specialty automotive customization shop that handles diesel trucks. They performed a full tune up on the truck. They changed the brakes, rotors, and pads. They checked all of the engine parts including the motor and the transmission. They replaced the oil seals on the cooler and they rebuilt the turbo pedestal. After the performance tune up by the automotive customization shop, the diesel truck gets wonderful Towing miles… Before the performance updates, I was getting about 8 miles to the gallon, and ever since I got the truck back from the shop, I have been getting around 12 or 13 miles per gallon.
