The customer didn't enjoy the estimate

I checked an A/C problem for a residential customer and the person was undoubtedly unhappy with our estimate.

I felt that I quoted her the lowest price available.

I even called our boss to see if every one of us could do any better. I left the estimate with the customer and I went to the next job. Only a couple of afternoons later, I recognized the same address on our trip sheet again. I asked our boss if the job was an replacement, then he told myself and others that that work was an estimate and I reminded him that every one of us had performed an estimate for the same customer the previous week. My boss contacted the lady on the PC, however when she found out that every one of us were not going to supply her another free estimate, she hung up the PC and said she would call the corporate office. There was legitimately no reason for her to get angry. The two of us had already gave her with an estimate for the services and repair work that needed to be completed on her heat pump and A/C unit. The two of us even provided to supply the customer a 10% discount. She was still unhappy with the work and I knew there wasn’t any other corporation out there who was going to do the work for a cheaper price than our business. She was already atcost minus 10%. I think she wanted us to supply it away for free, however heating and A/C repair and updatement work costs a lot of money and time. She never called back again, so I assume she found someone else to complete the repair.
