On Thursday I was assigned a task near the edge of village where they just started a brand modern housing development.
There are only a couple of properties down that way.
The boss sent myself and others to finish with the HVAC replacement on one of the modern properties. I answered the address into our gps. It was way down the road as well as at least 7 miles off the interstate. When I got to the last road, I started a steep incline on a truly bumpy road. I sincerely thought about turning around because I don’t have multiple wheel drive. I was terribly afraid that our car would not make it all the way down the hill. If I did make it all the way down the hill, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it all the way back. The client was waiting outside. She apologized for the bumpy road. The woman waited there while I inspected the finishing touches of the HVAC replacement task. I was there for a couple of hours. I needed a part that I could not find someplace in the building. Thank goodness I have one in our truck because I did not want to drive all the way back to the office. I did not want to tackle that hill any more times than was certainly necessary. On our way up the hill after the repair was finished, I must have hit every single pothole. I thought I had a flat tire. I am ecstatic our small Ford truck made it up the hill but that is not a venue that I would undoubtedly go again after seeing the steepness of the hill.
