Bad indoor air due to forest fires

Forest fires can cause a lot of problems. In this area of the country, the ground is super dry, we have been experiencing drought conditions for more than 10 years. We rarely get any rain at all and that means that the ground is dry and cracked. All of the trees are dead and they light up like kindling when there is a spark. Forest fires happen during the Summer months, and sometimes there is a storm that will spark lightning and sporadically it is simply the carelessness of a hiker or camper, there were 2 forest fires burning at the same time this year and both of the fires were causing bad visibility and poor indoor air quality levels. There wasn’t anything that we could do about the visibility problems. I drove with my lights on and I used the windshield wipers to get rid of the ash and dust that was falling on the car. I helped the bad indoor air quality levels by renting a media air cleaner from a local store. The media air cleaner has a removable and washable air filter. The media air cleaner helps remove all of the bad odors from the fire. The media air cleaner also removes all of the indoor allergens, dust, contaminants, mold, and mildew. As the air moves through the media air cleaner, it is cleaned and sanitized. I have been using the media air cleaner for a month and I really enjoy the machine, however my husband and I have been thinking about buying one ever since we rented this one. Neither one of us wants to give it back at the end of the month. I love the fact that the home smells fresher and cleaner with the media air cleaner running all day.
