Forest fires can cause a lot of problems.
In this part of the country, the ground is very dry.
We have been experiencing drought conditions for more than 10 years. We rarely get any rain at all and that means that the ground is dry and cracked. All of the trees are dead and they light up like kindling when there is a spark. Forest fires happen during the summer months. Sometimes there is a storm that will spark lightning and sometimes it is simply the carelessness of a hiker or camper. There were two forest fires burning at the same time this year and both of the fires were causing poor visibility and bad indoor air quality. There really wasn’t anything that we could do about the visibility issues. I drove with my lights on and I used the windshield wipers to get rid of the ash and dust that was falling on the car. I helped the poor indoor air quality by renting an air purifier from a local store. The air purifier has a removable and washable air filter. The air purifier helps remove all of the bad odors from the fire. The air purifier also removes all of the indoor allergens, dust, contaminants, mold, and mildew. As the air moves through the air purifier, it is cleaned and sanitized. I’ve been using the air purifier for a month and I absolutely love the machine. My wife and I have been thinking about buying one ever since we rented this one. Neither one of us wants to give it back at the end of the month. I like the fact that the house smells fresher and cleaner with the air purifier running all day.
