The smell coming from the neighbor’s front yard is almost unbearable! I have to plug my nose every time I walk outside to get in my car, and my youngsters complain & my spouse does not even want to cook because the smell is so off putting… We’ve been going out to lunch every evening so every one of us can get away from the awful & horrible stench, the guy across the street has been remodeling his entire home from the floor to the ceiling. It took a week of demolition to get rid of all the moldy & rotten wood from the minute floor of that ancient house. I’m blissful someone purchased the property & decided to service it up. It has charm & nostalgia & the property address once served as the town jailhouse. The neighbor has been staying in a hotel a few miles away while the work is being completed. There are corporations & plumbers all over the property all day & half of the evening. The plumbing is shut off completely while I was in the remodel, so there is a portable task johnny in the front yard. The bathroom smells so terrible. The guy had someone supply the portable toilet last week, & I haven’t seen anyone come back to pump it out. There must be loads of crap in that toilet & I mean that literally & figuratively, but last evening, I opened the bathroom window & the smell of the outdoor toilet was overwhelming. I’ve been thinking about contacting the city, however it would be better to confront my neighbor & ask the guy to do something about the problem.
