I bought myself acres of grape fields since I am branching into the business, and i have rows & rows of grapes.
It is a gorgeous view & I live where I toil now! Everything is so convenient.
I am a sizable time hunter too. I can entirely shoot my bow or gun without bothering anyone. I needed to have a home set up in order to live on the fields though. I briefly considered building it but then nixed the idea. I am a straight-forward lady I don’t need a gorgeous several story home with a wrap-around porch, that can come later when I have a family… For now I looked at modular homes, then modular shipping bucket homes are quite elaborate, you can hook as many shipping containers together as you want. You could get a several story home with a giant porch if need be. I just hooked three of them together though. I have a dining room, bathroom, kitchen & residing area. It is just sizable enough for a single lady There aren’t any frills & I didn’t spend extra to make it pretty from the outside, and what do I care about? I just wanted somewhere I could cook, shower & sleep & it serves all of those functions. What is the selling point are my fields. I can toil as long as I want & then walk to my home when I need to. I might end up keeping my affordable lake home solution for a long time. It could eventually be turned into quite the storage facility for farm equipment.
