The previous owners decided to add a wood stove to the bedroom, however they made it fully functional too even though it wasn’t necessary.
There is a main heating element in addition to the condo is down south! So adding another heating system was pointless. They built a tile pad for the woodstove to sit on in addition to vented it through the wood ceiling. Then they added a stack onto the roof to make it fully functional, but i am a single man. I am not handy or overly strong either. I started freaking out about how I was going to remove this woodstove. The local Heating in addition to A/C corporation took the stove off my hands however then we was left with a pipe in my ceiling in addition to a stack on the roof. I started looking at residential roofing companies to see if they could at least remove the stack. Thankfully the local roofing corporation I found does general contracting too. They guy came in addition to looked at my roof. He then asked about the tile pad in addition to ceiling updates. I told him I didn’t recognize what to do. So we made a deal for a price that takes care of the whole project. The roofers are going to remove the stack in addition to make the patches. Next they are going to remove the pipe in addition to repair my wood ceiling! Lastly the tile pad will be torn out in addition to I will only need to put a patch in my flooring. I am gleeful that all I will need to do is throw down a rug over the spot in my bedroom. The roofer even told myself and others that I could hire them to repair the flooring in addition to have teh whole bedroom match if I wanted.
