When you walk in, please take your shoes off.

He left less footprint and no dirt behind.

Last week, I had new carpeting installed in the residing room and family rooms. The residing room carpet is a pale grey I hoped would not show footprints. Unfortunately, the footprints were more noticeable, and every time someone walked on the carpet, even with bare feet, they left an impression. I suddenly realized why I had never had deep pile carpeting in our home. It was horrible to maintain. When the Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker was tied up to come to the house to do service on our furnace, I planned on having him come to the family room door. On the afternoon the Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker was to arrive, our husband had taken the back porch off and was building a new 1. I had to let the Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker in through the residing room. I put a note on the door that asked if, when you walk in, please take your shoes off. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker did me 1 better. He put anti-static booties on over his shoes and gingerly made his way through the residing room. He left less footprint and no dirt behind. I was sure the same would not happen went he exited the furnace room, however I was wrong. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker took off the used booties and put them in his bin for disposal items. He put fresh booties on before leaving our family room, and the work order on the table. I told our husband, after the Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker left, that if the people I was with and I ever needed actual work done on the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, I was going to ask for him to be the 1 who did the work.
