My Dad was consistently asking us teenagers what the two of us wanted for Christmas.
Now that I have teenagers, she asks them what they want.
My kid told her she wanted a space heater, and she thought she was another strange child; however, she said she would talk to Santa Claus, then I’m also fairly certain she had no intentions of buying a space heater. She asked him every time she came to the house; what she wanted for Christmas? When she told her she wanted a space heater, she shrugged. She asked me what she should get him, and I told her she said what she wanted. She said you don’t get a space oil furnace for a child, for Christmas. She needed toys or something that was fun. I should buy the space oil furnace and let him use it as well. Dad didn’t think our son, and if she was asking for a space heater, that is what she wanted. Since Dad refused to buy the space heater, I obtained it. I knew she had a draft coming through her home office, and the people I was with and I needed to put a new window in there, and until Springtime there was little the two of us could do. My spouse put shrink wrap over the window, and it helped some, however not as much as the two of us hoped it would. The space oil furnace would keep him warm, and help with the energy bills, which is all I can ask for. I think I’ll buy the space oil furnace now, but, and get him the game system she wanted. She didn’t tell her Grandma about the gaming system, because she thought it was too high-priced for her to purchase.
