Equalized HVAC coverage with simple fix

It just was for sure that there was a problem when it came to the HVAC coverage in our home.

I noticed almost immediately there that there was a room that was quite a bit cooler than the rest of the house during the winter.

This caught my attention because initially, it was going to be my oldest daughter’s room. We moved to the North during the fall and I thought maybe she didn’t like the room because she was still getting used to the gas furnace heating. We moved from a place where the winters were very mild and all we had was a heat pump. Even then, the heat pump rarely came on as we required very little heating. But once my daughter moved to another room, I kept going into that room and it was definitely colder than the rest of the house. As part of the home sale, we had new HVAC equipment installed. This was a big deal to me because I knew absolutely nothing about a gas furnace. I wondered if something might be wrong so I called the HVAC company. The HVAC professional went over every inch of our HVAC unit and found it to be in perfect working order. He then walked through the house with me to take a look at the ductwork layout. The HVAC technician told me the problem was that the room in question wasn’t getting the proper HVAC ventilation because it wasn’t part of the original layout. But he pointed me to an easy fix and I bought some room to room ventilators. Once I put those in, the HVAC heating was equalized throughout that entire part of the house and especially in that one room.
