I was doing some deep cleaning to make room for all the gifts I had bought for Christmas. I had all our outdated clothes laid out for a charity drive, as well as was putting them in piles when I noticed the dark spot in the back of our closet. I would have thought the air movement would have kept this mold at bay, but I was wrong. Mike checked out the walk-in closet as well as said there was an air vent in there, but it wasn’t letting air in. When Mike opened the air vent, he chuckled. He asked if I had lost anything lately. There was a thick, moldy blouse stuck in the air vent. I remember putting it up there 1 night because of the air coming through the air vent, as well as I was afraid it would take all the color out of our black dress. He said if I hadn’t put the blouse in the air vent to block the air flow, I may not have the mold, as well as I was lucky it hadn’t caused a fire.
