It is now 10am and I just have three more stories to write and then I am going to take a break from the screen to rest my eyes and to do some yoga.
- My goal today is to be done with all of my writing work by noon so that I can go visit my stepmom with my brother for a couple of hours.
We can hang out there for a couple of hours and then I am going to hang out with a good friend of mine later on and play a little volleyball with him hopefully. The central heating system just kicked on though, and it is reminding me that the weather outside is pretty cold and may not be conducive to playing ball on the beach. If that is the case then we can just hang out at his crib and catch up on old times. I haven’t seen Blaine for six months and he is one of my oldest friends back home here. He’s a local contractor and we used to work together on HVAC equipment and air purifying systems when I was living here a long time ago. I think we met on the volleyball court back in 1995 when I moved back home from Cali where I was playing the sport for a couple of years competitively. I am a new contractor in my city overseas and I do a lot of cooling system repairs and I also sell HEPA filters online. It is a pretty cool job and I get to meet a lot of nice people.
