I made a terrible mistake.
I forgot to have my air conditioning system tuned up before the summer.
I was really hoping that when the summer came, even if I forgot to have my air conditioning system tuned up, that it would be able to survive the summer heat. All was going well until I saw on a weather forecast that we were predicted to have a heatwave come through. As soon as I saw that I knew I was in trouble, as soon as the heat wave hit my air conditioner completely gave up on me. It’s almost like it told me nope this is too much heat for me. I was not happy about the situation, and I hated that I forgot to have my AC system tuned up properly beforehand. Now the heating and AC businesses are all booked up with people like me and I forgot to take care of their air conditioning system and are waiting on a repair. I could always pay for emergency HVAC services but that would cost a fortune and still take a little while. I guess I was just going to be stuck with the heat for a couple weeks until I can get a heating and AC technician to come out here. Until then I went down to the HVAC store and picked up a window air conditioning system to hold me over until I could get my central AC fixed. The window air conditioning system did help to cool me down but it was nothing compared to my central AC system and that’s when I realized that this was going to be a very long two weeks that I was going to have to wait.
