I went to school to become a instructor so I could help children.
I wanted to change and mold young minds.
I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children everywhere, however unluckyly, there are a lot of politics involved in the school system; Periodically it drives myself and others so crazy that I don’t want to teach anymore. This year I was supposed to be teaching inside of a classroom and they have myself and others outside in a portable building instead. I am particularly exasperated about being in the portable building, because there is only one single ductless heating and cooling system. The ductless heating and cooling program doesn’t properly cool the space due to the fact that there are leaks and holes everywhere. I complained to the principal about the heating and cooling program and all of the air that the two of us were losing due to the poor ventilation and holes in the walls. She told myself and others that she could call someone to make repairs, however they were going to be made during the classroom. Did I entirely want the service business in the classroom while I was trying to teach a lesson plan? The service should have been completed in the summer time when there wasn’t anyone here. These ancient portable buildings have been here for 10 years. Everyone complains about the temperatures and no one wants to work in them. I don’t think why I got stuck in one of these classrooms, however I am start to guess that our time at this school has particularly come to an end.
