Today is bringing your child to work day. I can say I am far from excited about this. My dad though is a hard worker who stares at his computer day and night so he probably never sleeps. I have done this whole bringing your child to work day last year and you know what I did? I sat in a chair coloring for 8 hours straight with a lunch packed in my Spongebob lunchbox. It is very dreadful and my dad really doesn’t have the parenting skills to recognize that I am bored. Perhaps I would like to learn a bit? I can say even trying to learn what he is doing is confusing. He just looks at graphic charts the whole time and writes information down and shakes his head here and there. The office room is super cold as well. He must love the air conditioning because I have to wear a sweater and jeans with spare socks on. I asked him about it one day and he said he had nothing to do with the temperature control. There is one dial thermostat and it affects the whole building. That to me is annoying. I feel that every office should have their own private settings. Not everyone is the same and if this company really cared about their employees then they would not make everyone deal with the same temperatures.
