I had an emergency with my heating ideas just as the winter season set in.
I decided to call the heating supplier that had installed the apartment’s heater because I felt confident in their offer of 24/7 services for premium clients; You can imagine my frustration when my calls went unanswered for over an hour. Before I sound like a Karen or a lousy client, I understood that it’s the busy season for emergencies around town, especially with people rushing to have last-hour oil furnace maintenance. But at least a reputable heating company should have hired temps, or someone to handle the cellphone & respond to shopper calls. In anger, I looked for another heating dealership. They picked up my call on the first ring! They asked about my concern with my heater, which I explained. The heating industry expert also wondered if I’d tried to reset the smart thermostat, & I said that I did. After the call, I only had to wait 1 hour for the Heating & A/C tech to arrive. I let him in & led him to the unit. She checked the entire idea & found that I had substituted the HEPA air filter wrong, hence the troubles I was having with the system. Thankfully, my unit needed a minor repair, & the right air filter was substituted. I could not imagine buying a new heating unit in the current economy. The heating contractor taught myself and others more about heating upkeep to avoid such errors in the future. I left a nice review for them so that new clients would seek their services if they wanted help with indoor comfort. I was cheerful to have found a great new service provider.
