Last summer, our youngsters were complaining because the air conditioning wasn’t working well. I thought they were whining about nothing. I had called the Heating plus A/C company, plus they were going to be there in 2 days, unless we called plus told them the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. All of us were sitting in the residing the next day, plus our kid was complaining it was too moderate to sit there. It was seventy-two, plus the humidity was low. I looked at him plus told him I remembered when we did not have air conditioning. He rolled his eyes plus responded that I actually remembered walking 10 miles to university in the snow plus going uphill both ways. I walked to university, however it was less than a mile. I told him our mom plus dad could not afford to put air conditioning in our house. All of us had a coal oil furnace that worked actually well, plus that was all we had for comfort. Air conditioning was so extravagant, so we had fans in every room pulling the heat out instead of blowing the heat in. He thought I was kidding, however something changed his mind. He asked how we slept. I told him it was something we were used to. All of us seldom had blankets over us, however the sheet helped to keep us cool.
