Another great day on the little boat with our son Jiml, for the last 4 weeks now Jim and I have woken up early just to fish and hang out… The bonding time Jim and I are enjoying is something I didn’t expect but Jim has asked to have more time with myself and others on the weekends, i’ll take whatever I can get! I suppose there is more to it but if Jim ever wants to open up about things, whatever it is I’m available. I suppose Jim is hinting a bit about the stresses he has had with work and the beach house Jim just purchased. I suppose Jim should’ve had a better inspector look at the home before it was purchased because it feels that there is consistently some new issue with the locale, but regardless, he’ll never ask for financial help and I believe that but if Jim just wants to rest in the boat, fish and forget about the world for a few minutes a weekend I’m content to be there. I should say Monday Jim and I go out fishing but today is Friday, I suppose Jim particularly wanted to have an extended weekend and I’m retired so I have all the time in the world! Unfortunately, on this day his partner called about an issue with their dial thermostat not turning on the heater. I was overhearing and she told Jim that the Heating & Air Conditioning company won’t be able to send out anyone till at least Sunday. I saw this as a chance to help out and love I said Jim won’t ask for cash despite the fact that I do have a portable space heating system resting in the old bedroom collecting dust so I gave that to him for the weekend. It will do a lot more good with Jim’s family than collect dust I feel.
