I’ve been hiking since I was a teen, & we made the choice to go for the first time with my parents. Dad & dad, at that time, were laboring full time & feeling weary, but so, they decided to start walking & hiking in the countryside, we’d drive to the area, park the car, & go on hikes. The best sites were within state & national parks with amazing hiking trails. At first, I complained about going with them, & wanted to stay in the automobile to play video games. However, I saw their energy & health improve, so I chose to join them & care about the experience. Well, I kept hiking even after joining school & even stayed in several cabins across the country. The solitude of mountains & remote landscapes was so appealing that I planned to one afternoon live in a cabin. My wish came tplot a few years ago, & it’s been the best experience. I purchased this condo that came with 10 acres of land in a semi-rural area. The first thing I had to do with the condo was substitute it, followed by figuring out the heating & cooling. There was a stove, & window AC in the condo when I purchased it; But, I needed more modern Heating & A/C systems, so I contacted a friend who is an Heating & A/C tech for assistance. If I needed a central Heating & A/C, I’d need to add air duct to the condo which wasn’t cheap. Luckily, there was an alternative & I could use ductless cooling & heating units to keep the space comfortable! Ductless units were a life saver since I didn’t need to spend so much cash on air duct installation.
