My husband and I moved into our house about four months ago. It was not good timing at all, but we fell in love with this house, so we sold our old house and bought this one. It was in the middle of the busiest time of year for both of us at work. We hardly packed anything. We just threw it into trucks and hauled it to our new house. Unfortunately, there was a lot of stuff that I did not have a place for at the time that we moved in, so it got stuffed into our garage. The messy garage drove me crazy for months. Finally, I decided that it was time to clean it out. The only issue was that the garage was not heated. It is a detached garage, and it gets really cold during the winter months. It was around fifteen degrees outside the day that I chose to clean the garage out, so I had to find some way to heat the garage. I decided to use my husband’s kerosene heater. I had no idea how to use it, so I looked up some tutorials online to figure out how to use it. Surprisingly, I was able to get the thing on and working. It actually heated the garage pretty well. I was sweating by the time that I was done. Of course, I did have to move a lot of heavy things, so that may have added to it. I am so happy to have the garage clean, and I am happy to have learned how to use our kerosene heater as well.
