The entire past week was one of the worst of my life.

It started out with a fight with my husband and escalated to my walking out. When I came back, he wasn’t angry anymore, but he was upset that I had left. I apologized and told him I was sorry. He gave me a hug, but he was still distant. That night, he got closer and closer, and I thought it was because he missed, but it was because it was cold in the house. Somewhere between getting home and midnight, the furnace had broken. It was Friday, and we didn’t want to pay an after hours price, so we waited until Monday to call the HVAC company. The HVAC company said they had nothing for two days. On Wednesday, I finally got the call that the HVAC technician was going to be here the next morning. It was in the forties, so we hadn’t worried about frozen pipes, but it was freezing in our house. When I told my husband the HVAC tech would be here in the morning, he gave me the first real smile I had seen in almost a week. Once the HVAC technician showed up, it took him about an hour to repair the furnace, and I was finally getting heat in the house. After a horrible week, I was finally having a good day, and all it took was having the furnace running again. Maybe a little of it was also when my husband smiled at me and said he loved me. It was also almost a week ago since that happened.

I was looking for my very first house ever, and I wanted a small cottage.

After months of looking, I saw what I thought was going to be my perfect home.

It had shuttered windows, and I was anxious to see the inside. When I walked into the house, it was beautiful. They decorated it in whites and blues, and they transported it from a beach front and put it in the perfect place, which is right where I live. I looked through every room and had to ask the realtor what was wrong with it? The price was perfect. The location was perfect. The house seemed to be perfect. She told me the HVAC was only five years old, but the house was small. The owners didn’t think it was necessary to have zone control in the house. I couldn’t believe that all the rooms had no thermostats. The only room with a thermostat wasn’t a room, but the hallway to the rest of the house. Although it was cold outside, it was still warm in the house. I hadn’t noticed a single draft, or chilly spot. I wondered if I really needed zone control, but with zone control also came ductwork. I asked about the air conditioning, and she there wasn’t any. I wanted the house so badly, but first I wanted to know what it would cost to have ductless HVAC installed. If the ductless HVAC could be covered by lowering the price by 5%, I was buying it. Other than the lack of AC and zone control, the house was absolutely perfect.

By the time my older brother turned thirty, he was one of the top HVAC technicians in our state, and he owned an HVAC company.

I wanted to be just like him when I graduated.

I signed up for HVAC classes and hoped that when I graduated, he would hire me. Unfortunately, HVAC repair didn’t come naturally to me. I tried as hard as I could and I studied almost non-stop, but I wasn’t retaining any of the information. I talked to my dad, and he asked why I wanted to be an HVAC technician. I told him i wanted to be just like my brother. Dad shook his head and asked if I wanted to be an HVA technician or if I wanted to be successful. I wanted to be successful. Dad told me to ask myself what I was good at. I was good at computers, programming and web development. He told me to take a class on doing online web development. Two years later, I had my own online web development company. I had four people working for me, and I had a department specifically for HVAC. I got a phone call one afternoon, and it shocked me to hear my brother’s voice. He apologized because he thought he called the wrong number. I asked why he was calling and said he wanted to have a working website for his business. He had called the right number, and I was going to help him. We set him up with an excellent HVAC website, and soon after, he was getting more customers than he had expected. He said he couldn’t have done it without me.

I was talking to grandpa a couple of weeks ago.

He was asking how my new job was going.

He knew I had gone to HVAC school, and he thought it was amazing how well I did. I graduated at the top of my class and got a job in the best HVAC company in our area. Over the next five years, I was busy making it to the top of my career, but I never forgot to visit grandpa. He and I were buddies and I don’t know what I would have done without him. We talked about everything. He helped me when my fiance walked out on me because I worked too hard. He was there for me when I thought I was going to fail HVAC classes. Now, he is there for me while I decide if I want to be the owner of an HVAC company. He has offered to help me get my business started. I told him I have plenty of money to start the business, but I didn’t have the business acumen. Grandpa taught business before he retired. He said that any information I needed, he could help. He had an independent business on the side, where he helped prospective business owners with their start-ups. He did all the business paperwork for them and walked them through the process. He once told me he talked about being an HVAC technician, but there wasn’t a lot of need for home HVAC back then. I’m glad he is still around to help me start my HVAC company.

This has been a frosty Winter time for a lot of people in our town, as many of them live in simple flats & don’t have any way to keep boiling while in the winters.

Sometimes, I wish that the task option that I took fortune of a couple years ago did not land myself and others in such a brutally cold area of the country. After college, I ended up working for a medical engineering contractor with a small branch in my hometown. I shall never forget the temperature I study on the control machine of my dashboard as I drove into the outskirts of the city. It was 9° outside! There was no snow, however some had recently fallen, & I was just praying that I would not slip & slide over the road & would eventually learn how to drive in such conditions. That’s why I’m so cheerful that the heating method of my vehicle was so effective. It still is, really. Anyway, I ended up finding an apartment, & though it was quite small, my number one priority was keeping warm. I’m cheerful to say that the proprietor of the lake house was entirely conscientious about making sure that everyone’s gas furnace was working well. If that wasn’t the case, I might not have stuck around!

There’s just something about Fall that I absolutely adore! This is the start of all the holidays & festivities that I have come to adore over the years; I believe I’m just not much of a summer time person & Springtime is just too hot for me.

I adore the weather when it’s cool & crisp with low humidity, and during such times of the year, I barely emplot the use of my Heating as well as Air Conditioning system, but that is another thing that I certainly adore about the fall season.

This is a time of year in which I barely need to use heating or air conditioning. Thus, I can save currency on my utility bills. It just feels so delightful while I was in most of the fall where I live. If anything, I end up opening the windows whenever I’m lake lake house for the afternoon in the Fall. It feels so good! Now, when it’s cold & rainy on an Fall night, then I shall turn up the heat a little bit. That can be quite good as well! I shall make some mulled, spiced hot cider or simply some herbal coffee & cozy up on my couch with a good book or some show that I adore to watch, and yes, I don’t need much while I was in the fall to be cheerful, and admittedly though, I don’t mess around when it comes to ensuring that my heating & A/C method is well-worked on. After all, whereas most of the time, fall is indeed crisp & freezing, it can occasionally be brutally cold in these parts of the country. Thus, in order to ensure that my heating method is ready for the cold parts of the year, I call out an Heating as well as Air Conditioning contractor all the way back in late September to toil on my heating unit. Yes, Old Man Winter can decide to stake his claim quite early in these parts, & it’s best to be prepared!

I went to school to become a teacher so I could help children.

I wanted to change and mold young minds. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children everywhere. Unfortunately, there are a lot of politics involved in the school system. Sometimes it drives me so crazy that I don’t want to teach anymore. This year I was supposed to be teaching inside of a classroom and they have me outside in a portable building instead. I’m very frustrated about being in the portable building, because there is only one single ductless heating and cooling system. The ductless heating and cooling system doesn’t properly cool the space due to the fact that there are leaks and holes everywhere. I complained to the principal about the heating and cooling system and all of the air that we were losing due to the poor ventilation and holes in the walls. She told me that she could call someone to make repairs, but they were going to be made while I was in the classroom. Did I really want the repair company in the classroom while I was trying to teach a lesson plan? The repair should have been completed in the summer when there wasn’t anyone here. These old portable buildings have been here for 10 years. Everyone complains about the temperatures and no one wants to work in them. I don’t know why I got stuck in one of these classrooms, but I’m beginning to think that my time at this school has probably come to an end.

A residential customer called to make an appointment for an AC repair.

I sent one of my best technicians to the address to help with the repair.

After the guy was finished making the repairs to the system, he called me with an update. At that time, the employee informed me that there were tons of people working in the house at one time. There were a lot of things going on, but he was certain that he had the problem with the AC unit fixed. A couple of days after the repair, I received a phone call from the owner of the property. The woman was distraught because she was missing a diamond tennis bracelet. She wasn’t specifically accusing any of my employees of taking the diamond tennis bracelet, but she certainly wanted to know if any of my guys would be guilty of a crime like that. I told the woman that none of my employees would ever steal and I also mentioned hearing that there were more than one contractor inside of the house on that day. The woman hung up the phone and I did not hear from her again until yesterday. I was surprised that the woman called me with an update. She did not want me to think that any of my AC repair technicians were thieves. The woman told me that that tennis bracelet turned up in one of her drawers. She did not know how it got into that place, but she did know that it was not stolen.
