Last month my AC plan broke down in addition to I couldn’t figure out why it was not working like it was supposed to.

My grandparents are coming over today.

It’s been 2 months since the last time my mom and I saw them.

There was a falling out where grandpa got angry about undercook steak. My mom has been trying to make it work with him because she wants a connection but he makes it so hard for her. He never gives me any issues though. I’m starting to think that grandpa doesn’t like women but he is awfully nice to grandma. I’m fairly positive he is because he will get whooped by her. Grandma doesn’t back down from him or anyone so I can see why grandpa doesn’t mess with her. I know as soon as he walks in the door he will bark some orders at my mom, cry about how cold the air conditioning is and then proceed to turn the dial thermostat to a reasonable number of his liking. I don’t like the fact when he comes over that he feels he has control over everything. My mom just lets it happen as well. She is a pushover when it comes to him and it’s quite sad to see. I know my mom just had a HVAC technician come over and install a smart thermostat in. I might just mess with my grandfather today and see him lose his mind. He needs a lesson in life and lessons you can learn at any point. His lesson would be to not mess with my mom or I will step up. They will be here in less than a couple hours so let’s see how he acts when he walks through that door.

If we are at home, hotel, motel or wherever you can find him cranking the dial thermostat to a minimum of 78 degrees. He told me as soon as he hit 70 years old he has been always cold and he feels he gets colder every year. So every year he ages and so does the thermostat temperature. So if he hits 100 I will never be in the same room as this man. Heck even 80 degrees. I barely can handle this but I kind of am ok with it. Only problem is if I bring my friends with me over and place checkers with my grandfather they all get very whiny and don’t want to stay long. I can’t really blame them though. If i wasn’t used to it I would be whiny myself. My grandmother pays no attention to it as it reminds her of their honeymoon ages ago when they went to the Bahamas. She just sits there and hums some music and smiles. I love that they are in their comfort and just enjoying what they have. I let the fireplace die out one night after grandpa fell asleep in his chair. I can say he slept for like 5 minutes and then he was in a temper. You yelled you had one job Michael and that was to throw on a couple logs. Overall he doesn’t get angry with me but I know not to mess with him either.

It is so hot in my bedroom.

I woke up sweating and not sweating from a scary dream but literal sweat as someone turned the oven on.

There is no way I’m going to fall back to sleep. I know it’s cold outside and the smart thermostat is supposed to adjust the temperature a few degrees but what is this? I checked the temperature settings and everything should be fine but it’s far from fine. I hope there aren’t any major issues because this will really stink. I still feel the heat coming out of the vents. Something is wrong and I can’t open the windows because heat will just pour out and there goes my gas bill. No way am I risking an expensive bill at the end of the month. I might have to call the emergency HVAC hotline to get an on call heating technician to come out as soon as possible. After a few minutes of trying to figure out what is going by walking up and down the stairs to the basement losing my mind. I looked at my air filter and they seemed ok. I had to do it, I had to call a heating expert. Thankfully someone who was on call was a couple blocks away and said they will be here within 15 minutes. The technician took his time looking through everything and checked the filters and said it can’t be that. He did other tests as well and eventually figured out that the lays with the thermostat itself. There was something faulty about it and he had to turn it off. He said he will have to get the parts but repairs will be done in a few hours. I guess my sleep is messed up for tonight.

Today is bringing your child to work day. I can say I am far from excited about this. My dad though is a hard worker who stares at his computer day and night so he probably never sleeps. I have done this whole bringing your child to work day last year and you know what I did? I sat in a chair coloring for 8 hours straight with a lunch packed in my Spongebob lunchbox. It is very dreadful and my dad really doesn’t have the parenting skills to recognize that I am bored. Perhaps I would like to learn a bit? I can say even trying to learn what he is doing is confusing. He just looks at graphic charts the whole time and writes information down and shakes his head here and there. The office room is super cold as well. He must love the air conditioning because I have to wear a sweater and jeans with spare socks on. I asked him about it one day and he said he had nothing to do with the temperature control. There is one dial thermostat and it affects the whole building. That to me is annoying. I feel that every office should have their own private settings. Not everyone is the same and if this company really cared about their employees then they would not make everyone deal with the same temperatures. Yeah I’m sure many of them are ok with it but I can tell by looking at Lucy the assistant who sits outside of his office is freezing. Well lets get through another terrible day. She had an independent corporation on the side, where she helped prospective corporation owners with their start-ups. This allows for more efficient heating and cooling, and greater comfort, because the temperature in each zone can be tailored to the certain needs of that zone, but zoned Heating and A/C systems always use a central air conditioning device and gas furnace, but with the addition of zone control dampers and temperature controls. These dampers and temperature controls are linked to a central control system that manages the flow of air and the temperature in each zone. The control system can also be integrated with smart home technology, allowing for remote control and monitoring of the Heating and A/C system.
