A few weeks ago, my teenage son Jason had a few of his friends over at the house.

They mostly stayed in his room and played video games while they were there.

However, at one point, after they had some pizza, they decided to go outside and toss around a football. We have a huge backyard which is perfect for them to run around and play in. And personally, I was glad that Jason was out in the yard because he barely goes out there unless his dad is cooking on the grill. Anyway, while Jason and his friends were playing in the yard, I was in the kitchen cleaning up and getting ready to pull out something for dinner that evening. Well, all of a sudden I heard a big crash and when I went out to see what happened there was a gaping hole in my fence. One of his friends fell through the fence trying to catch the football. The wooden fence was already corroded from the constant exposure to the elements, and I have been meaning to contact a fence company in order to see what my options were. I didn’t want to fix the wooden fence because there is too much maintenance that is needed for them. My plan was to get a quote for vinyl fencing because they are durable, they last longer, and they are low maintenance. Well, that day I had to call the fence company because I needed to get the fence fixed immediately. The fence company was there the next day and two days later my new vinyl fence was up in my yard.

My dad got me a second-hand car for my eighteenth birthday.

I was thrilled to have a car I could take to college and go out on dates.

I no longer had to ask to borrow their car to go to work, either. The only thing that bothered me about the car was the window tint film. Whoever had installed the window tint film hadn’t done a very good job. There were bubbles in the windshield that had me looking at the bubbles and not where I was going. It was distracting to see those bubbles and the spots where the window tint film was lifting and torn. I wondered how long ago the window tint film had been installed. If it was recent, the job may be still be under warranty. If it had been done quite some time ago, it would be easy to remove and be replaced. I showed them the job that had previously been done on the car. They told me that whoever had installed the window tint film had not done it professionally. I just wanted something that wouldn’t be distracting, but would do the job I expected from window tint film.

The other afternoon when I was shopping at the grocery store I could hardly believe what I had discovered!
