My friend and I are HVAC technicians, and we love what we do.

To be honest, the HVAC industry has come a long way, and we are grateful to have a source of income. This has led to us having families, and making sure they have all that they need. Our jobs entail working on commercial and residential HVAC systems. We both have 5 years experience each in installation, repair and service. However, when we clock out, we like to go exploring and check out abandoned places. In our area, there’s vast forest land, and so do the neighboring states. That means we always have a new place each month to go explore. We started checking out abandoned places when we were in college. A group of us decided to go hiking in a new area during the weekend, and came across an abandoned mansion. It looked like no one had lived there in decades, so we scaled the walls, and got inside. The big items were still there, but there’s also a lot that was missing. We spent hours exploring and trying to imagine the life of its former occupants. Later that year, my friend and I went to another abandoned place to explore, and that’s how the hobby started. We recall this one house we went to where we came across the biggest window AC unit. I had not understood the instructions on handling it well and turned it lower than it would take to warm me up. I love holidays away from home because I experience other living spaces and pick up ideas and, if I’m lucky, decor pieces. I window-shopped at the HVAC business in my friend’s town and found a unit that would fit perfectly into my two-bedroom space, but it wasn’t available in my local town.

Taking road trips can be a lot of fun if you do it with the right people.

Unfortunately, my main experience of road trips in my life has been my family. My parents took my siblings and I on road trips almost every summer in a cramped station wagon. It was not a fun experience needless to say. I never got to choose any of the stops along the way like my siblings did. I was the youngest so I was given the least consideration when it came to figuring out where we would stop along the way and during the journey. I hated staying in hotel rooms too. We would always get the cheapest ones my friends could Ford and front were always frustrated by how cramped they were inside. But the car was even worse. Back then the car did not have an air conditioner inside of it. We had to deal with the windows being cracked. It would get extremely hot during long road trips in that car. I just really wish we’d had an air conditioner in the time I think I would have enjoyed the trips a lot more. Now I have a car with a good air conditioner in it and it makes for a much more enjoyable trip when I use a car for travel. It sure is great having a good air conditioner inside your car, especially if you live in a region with a lot of warm temperatures throughout the year. That’s when you’re definitely going to want a good air conditioner in your car.

I’m getting stressed out knowing that winter is soon approaching.

One of the biggest factors is that my job goes into high gear during the winter season.

We end up having to work overtime hours and I get even less time to spend with my family. It upsets me, my wife, and my children. It’s rough because the winter holiday season is often the time you want to spend with your family the most. I love decorating the house and having amazing sit-down dinners before we all go into the living room and have a fire in the fireplace. It can be an amazing experience, but it’s hard to have these experiences when my work won’t even allow me to get home enough to do that. Everything gets postponed and it’s extremely frustrating. I also have to get the house ready for the winter season as well. We have to make sure all the doors and windows are properly weather- stripped and sealed so that drafts don’t get in. We have a furnace right now that needs to be fixed as well. And I want to make sure that it’s fixed before we start meeting it all day long, every single day. I’m going to call the heating and cooling company today and schedule an appointment to get the furnace inspected and repair it. That way we’ll have everything working in time for the winter season, regardless of whether or not I’ll be home or at work. I want my family to be warm when it starts to get extremely cold out.

My mind is on anything but my home responsibilities and chores right now. I just lost my cousin who I grew up with and considered to be a second brother. We hung out together constantly in the years since we were both little kids. He was always a close friend and somebody enjoyed spending time with. Since my cousin didn’t have any siblings himself, he was like another brother to me. His parents were often working when they needed to be home as well. So he would spend time at my house instead of being left alone in his house. When I heard that he had died in her accident, it devastated me. I was completely upset by the whole experience. It was bewildering to me when it happened and I still don’t know if I’m going to be over it anytime soon. So because of all of my grief, it’s hard for me to think of my responsibilities and chores. I had forgotten to replace my air conditioner filter for 3 months straight. In my region it gets so dusty that you need to replace your air conditioner filter every 4 to 6 weeks. These are central things you need to do to make sure that your air conditioner filter does not get too clogged. I don’t even know exactly how old this air conditioner filter is, that’s how bad the situation has become for me. I don’t even know what I’m going to do with all of my forgetfulness as a result of my grief. I don’t want to cause my air conditioner to break down because I’m in so much mental pain.

I never had sinus or respiratory allergies when I was a kid.

I was extremely active in sports and don’t recall instances of me catching my breath and feeling winded.

Not only that, but I could play in the dirt and all of the pollen without my nose swelling to the point at which I couldn’t breathe through it. I had no sense of discrimination when it came to where I played as a kid. But when I mow my lawn at my current age, I have to wear a face mask or the dust, and pollen will clog my nose and make it almost impossible for me to breathe. These airborne allergens wreak havoc on my immune system and my whole entire body is a result. I get really frustrated dealing with all these airborne allergens every year. I wish there was a way to make my lungs respond better to these factors beyond using a mask everywhere I go. At home though I bought an air purifier with a HEPA filter inside. I have a filter that filters out 99.9% of all airborne allergens. Now I can get all the dust and other air borne allergens out once and for all. Really helps having all of these options available. I’m really happy with the air purifier I have in my house because it does such a good job at keeping my indoor air clean and Free of dust. I don’t know what I would do without my hair purifier. I even got my air purifier on sale at the hardware store last year for 50% off.

It’s been a few months now plus I’m so satisfied to easily come home, change my clothes plus get in a workout. This has certainly helped me get in better shape… Plus, I’m enjoying so much more energy thanks to that ductless heat pump plus my daily workouts.
