I woke up to a pleasant gift with my stock this morning, making $850 at one point but now it is down to $485. It’s all just a game of chance and it still doesn’t negate the fact that I am down $100K so don’t be too jealous. Who knows what this car company will end up doing but at least they got a loan today for $100M to ramp up production so maybe this is the start of my recovery. It will probably take two or three years for me to recover that money if the company is successful. Heating and cooling system work will be on the slate until then though, working as an HVAC tech for the company in my town. I am fine with working a few more years and waiting for this investment to yield something because I don’t need the money now anyways. My mini split air con system kept me comfy last night, even though I am sick with the flu and have a pretty bad fever as well. I am sleeping like 12 hours a night to help my body kick this thing and I have four more days to get better before my friend comes to visit. She is a cooling supplier and is doing an HVAC system convention in another town and is going to visit me if I get better in four or so days. I’ve had this thing for three days now and I can feel it shifting around in my body as my immune system tries to get rid of it.
