Until my wife Sam became an Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert, I had never been to a company celebration.
- When Sam started talking about the big BBQ the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company owner hosted every year, I didn’t know if I really wanted to go at all.
My dad used to talk about the company picnics that she went to until she had us girls. She thought that taking triplets to a company picnic was a little too much for everyone else. She as well as my Dad thought they would go nuts when my pal and I were growing up, as well as she didn’t want to put anyone else through it. Sam and I are grown up now, as well as on our own, but I recall dad not taking us to any of her labor events. This year, Sam as well as sister-in-law labor at the same Heating, Ventilation & A/C company, and although I’m looking forward to spending the whole day with one of my sisters, I’m not looking forward to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C celebration. Sam and I were talking about it last night, as well as she was excited, but Sam told me she had heard a lot about these BBQ’s. The owner of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company had raffles that got you anything from a gag gift to a three-day weekend without a beeper. I thought that could be nice, but I still didn’t know if I wanted to go. After she begged, I asked Sam what time she and I had to leave for the BBQ. She told me she had her beeper, although she would like to be there by brunch. Sam and I didn’t know that whoever had the beeper had a definite prize of a 4-day weekend at the shore.
