Easter was supposed to be filled with fun and family, and my Easter was starting out as fun, and our family was here, the big difference was when my air conditioning component quit running, but it was warm for Easter, and separate from the air conditioning, my chocolate eggs were melting, the butter sculpture was melting, and supper was a bust.
My Grandparents had to leave early because they both had heart conditions, and Dad and dad had to take them home.
My Easter was ruined because of the cooling system, however everyone told me I was being over dramatic. I had a twenty pound turkey that my hubby and I could never consume. I had four of the five pounds of mashed potatoes kneeling on the table, and more side dishes than my associate and I would eat in a year. I forgot I had asked my sister to come to Easter supper… She is usually with her friends or working. When I heard him yelling at me and telling me to come to the table because she didn’t want to eat alone,I walked in. She sat there and waved at me and asked if anyone remembered she could have saved the day. She was an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker, and the only reason she was an hour late was because she had an emergency to attend to. I asked if she had time to look at the air conditioning unit, she grinned. I sent half the food condo with him; once she fixed the air conditioning. I figured between him and her roommates, it would be gone before the night was over.
