My A/C tech said our water boiler was wrong.

My partner wanted to have a whole-apartment media air cleaner installed.

I knew my pal and I had to contact a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C company. There had to be a few things that needed to be done when installing a whole-apartment media air cleaner. I called the local Heating, Ventilation & A/C company my pal and I used for our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system as well as told them what my pal and I needed. Two mornings later, a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialist named Sam was at my door. Sam tested the boiler as well as the A/C unit. Sam had records from the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company about our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, although Sam needed to be sure. Sam told us the boiler was all wrong for an Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. To have a whole-apartment sized media air cleaner, you had to have a system that was compatible with HEPA air filters. Our A/C machine could take a HEPA air filter, but not the boiler. Our water boiler was getting old, so I thought I would just get a new boiler, something else worried him. Sam said she did have records about the ductwork. Was it ever cleaned? Did it need more repairs? She then talked about UV lights. Anything that could get through the HEPA air filters, needed to pass by a UV light. I knew what UV lights were for. I had a water filtration unit that had a UV light. It killed everything that passed over it. I asked Sam if there was anything else my pal and I could use for air purification without a new boiler. Sam said my pal and I could do other things, but the boiler would still need to be substituted before the winter arrived. I knew I wasn’t going to get around purchasing a new water boiler.
