I am going on a vacation to a place that does not have any air conditioning in any of the houses.
It is obvious that we are going to have to adjust to this.
We are stocked up on bug spray and everything else we might need for this journey. One of the most exciting things to me is that we will be staying in an open air treehouse for most of the trip. The treehouse has a kitchen, a king size bed and a bathroom and that is it! The air conditioner does not exist. I looked for a lot of places in the area that might have AC and there were no houses available. In order to please my husband, I knew that we would need a fan at the very least. So, I did some research. All of the reviews on this house were great and everyone said that regardless of the no i/c situation, there was no need to be concerned. I read even further and found that most places in this region do not have air conditioning because the weather at night is so nice that there is no need for it. I loved hearing that the breeze at night was enough to keep up cool and comfortable. I was able to convince my husband that all we need is the cool ocean breeze and a fan to be comfortable at night. We will have to wait and see what happens!
