A poor storm reminds me of the importance of protecting outdoor Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment

We had quite the dire storm rolling through our part recently, so I took it upon myself to go out and check the outdoor components of my heating and air conditioner, however luckily, no detriment was done to the housing of the condenser component or any other part of the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C component outsideā€¦ However, there was a whole bunch of yard debris in the part of the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment that needed to be cleared out. Also, upon further inspection, I realized that some debris had gotten inside the condenser unit! I decided to call out an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C specialist to have the inside of the condenser component cleared of all debris and cleaned thoroughly, but when she came out, she also recommended me that certain bushes and shrubs and even a nearby overhanging tree honestly needed to be pruned to prevent the option of branches or leaves or sticks clogging up or causing detriment to the outdoor components of the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system, then in fact, she admonished me that I was lucky that the dire storm that had blown through had not caused any harm to my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system. She also showed me how to remove the grill from the outdoor condenser component so that I can clean it out myself in the future. She told me that I needed to shut off the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C component first before opening up the condenser unit, because I honestly wouldn’t want those fan blades going when I am trying to clean! It may seem like an obvious tip, however I appreciated it, because I can be absent-minded!
