Thankfully, our winter time is a mild one so our Heating and A/C specialist had given us the gift of a head start when it came to the summer.
Each fall, the Heating and A/C specialist comes out to the lakehouse to do the routine A/C heating maintenance. This is followed each Spring by the same HVAC specialist coming out to do the air conditioning tune up in the Spring. It’s always good to have the same Heating and A/C professionals looking after our HVAC equipment. And it has entirely paid off as well. This past fall, the Heating professional came to us after the regular maintenance session to let us know that our heat pump’s days were numbered. That sort of caught us by surprise. While it was clear that the Heating and A/C machine had been around a while, we hadn’t budgeted for it. We installed the Heating and A/C machine when we purchased this house. To our utter shock, that was nearly 25 years ago. So of course the Heating and A/C machine was about to wear out. But all those years of consistent Heating/AC maintenance paid off as at no point did the machine break down but rather performed its cooling and heating functions perfectly. Perhaps, this made us sleep well every day, thanks to the Heating and A/C equipment. Thankfully, our winter time is a mild one so our Heating and A/C specialist had given us the gift of a head start when it came to the summer. We were able to get the Heating and A/C corporation on board and also have enough to pay for the new heating and cooling equipment. With the early heads up, we had sufficient time to get all this accomplished before the heat and humidity of the summer time months set in. I promise you, there is no way we were going into a summer time like this without a heat pump that was ready to go.
