Last summer, we had to handle a few repair issues in our home. First, we had to have a roofing contractor come and carry out repairs. The roof was leaking each time there was rain. After that, we needed a deck contractor to build a new deck for our home. The kids had been requesting a deck where we could relax on summer evenings. Now, the deck is one of the most popular places on nice days. Even my partner likes sitting there in the morning to meditate before the house wakes up. The new deck has a way to close it up during winter so we can still relax there without freezing. It wasn’t cheap to make, but it was a worthy investment for the family. Since the unit was still working, we didn’t get to it until the heat was over. By this time, the HVAC expert was coming to inspect the heating system. Winter was right around the corner. So, the HVAC expert advised us to schedule the AC installation during spring. That’s the best time, especially mid-May so we can test the unit’s ability to cool our home. We saw the sense in that and just had the AC replacement done this past spring.
