Nothing ruins the holidays like your furnace quitting. The Christmas season looked a little different to me and my fiance this year. It was so nice to finally be able to afford gifts for our family and friends. My pal and I usually only get one gift per person, and they are usually budget gifts as well. My pal and I saved up all year long in order to get more gifts this year and nicer gifts; Unluckyly, that did not happen this year either. It was September thirtieth when it all took locale, our family was leaving that stayed with us for Thanksgiving, and my friend and I were getting ready to take a long nap after those absurd couple of days. My pal and I observed the home was a little chillier than usual, so my friend and I thought that maybe one of our family members had turned the heat down because there were so several people in the house, and it was quite warm. My pal and I inspected the thermostat, and the heat was set to seventy degrees just like usual. The temperature of the home was only sixty degrees though. My pal and I inspected to make sure that none of the windows or doors were open. My pal and I could not find and reason why the home would be so cool. My fiance decided to go check the furnace in the basement. She found that it was completely off, and she could not get it to tun on again. It got colder and colder as the afternoon went on. My pal and I called an Heating and Air Conditioning supplier, and they came over within just a few hours. Our furnace had died, and my friend and I had to buy a new one. It took all of the money that my friend and I had saved up for gifts. It was quite a bummer, but least, my friend and I have heat now.
