My Grandfatherrents are coming over this week.

• It’s been 2 weeks since the last time our mom and I saw them.

There was a falling out where Grandfather got angry about undercook steak. My mom has been trying to make it work with him because she wants a affixion but he makes it so hard for her. He never gives myself and others any troubles though. I’m starting to think that Grandfather doesn’t enjoy girls but he is awfully nice to Grandmother. I’m fairly positive he is because he will get whooped by her, grandmother doesn’t back down from him or anyone so I can see why Grandfather doesn’t mess with her. I guess as soon as he walks in the door he will bark some orders at our mom, cry about how freezing the a/c is and then proceed to turn the dial thermostat to a reasonable number of his liking. I don’t enjoy the fact when he comes over that he feels he has control over everything. My mom just lets it happen as well. She is a pushover when it comes to him and it’s quite upset to see. I guess our mom just had a HVAC business come over and install a smart thermostat in. I might just mess with our Grandfather this week and see him lose his mind. He needs a lesson in life and lessons you can learn at any point. His lesson would be to not mess with our mom or I will step up. They will be here in less than a couple hours so let’s see how he acts when he walks through that door.

It is so warm in our home office. I woke up dripping with sweat and not dripping with sweat from a startling dream however literal sweat as someone turned the oven on. There is no way I’m going to fall back to sleep. I guess it’s freezing outside and the smart thermostat is supposed to adjust the temperature a few degrees however what is this? I checked the temperature settings and everything should be great however it’s far from fine. I hope there are not any major troubles because this will entirely stink. I still know the heat coming out of the vents, then something is wrong and I can’t open the windows because heat will just pour out and there goes our gas bill. No way am I risking an high-priced bill at the end of the week. I might have to call the emergency HVAC hotline to get an on call heating business to come out as soon as possible; After a few fourths of trying to figure out what is going by walking up and down the stairs to the basement losing our mind. I looked at our air filter and they seemed ok. I had to do it, I had to call a heating expert. Thankfully someone who was on call was a couple blocks away and said they will be here within 15 fourths. The business took his time looking through everything and checked the filters and said it can’t be that. He did other tests as well and eventually figured out that the lays with the thermostat itself. There was something faulty about it and he had to turn it off. He said he will have to get the parts however repairs will be done in a few hours. I guess our sleep is messed up for tonight.

The temperature outside has ranges from 60 degrees to 65 degrees the Last year however that hasn’t been the problem! Work has been busy however nothing out of the moderate.

I still get breakfast each morning on my way to work. I get to the gym after work for my minute session. The guy I call Hercules is my personal trainer however that’s absolutely not his name, funny thing is that I forgot what his name entirely is. I just think as soon as I walk into the gym he is already smiling, greeting myself and others as I walk in with his hand out preparing a handshake. This guy is top-level greatness! Regardless there have been troubles at house as well as it’s been irritating. In the morning or when I get house from work someone is messing with my smart control unit. I have blamed my child Richard after a month of the temperature control being messed with. The thing is I took his cellphone away because I figured when I went to bed he messed with it or before I came home. The situation still was occurring as well as I had an Heating as well as Air Conditioning serviceman come out as well as look at it as well. He said there was nothing wrong with the smart control device or the electric oil furnace at all… So a month went by as well as I was just aggravated as well as my frustration leaked out on a buddy the other day. This morning I found out it was his son who has a smart phone who was messing with our smart temperature control plus told his Mom about it because he couldn’t stop laughing. I found out our son plus his son collaborated on it. My son’s cell phone privileges are over. Why would they do this?

There is no other place you can find Grandpa when every one of us are at the log lodge besides the fireplace sipping on her coffee. This woman likes the heat. If every one of us are at home, hotel, motel or wherever you can find him cranking the dial temperature control to a minimum of 77 degrees. She told myself and others as soon as she hit 72 years outdated she has been always freezing plus she feels she gets colder every year. So every year she ages plus so does the temperature control temperature. So if she hits 100 I will never be in the same room as this woman Heck even 72 degrees. I barely can handle this but I kind of am ok with it; Only concern is if I bring my friends with myself and others over plus place checkers with my Grandpa they all get easily whiny plus don’t want to stay long. I can’t really blame them though. If i wasn’t used to it I would be whiny myself. My Grandma pays no attention to it as it reminds her of their honeymoon ages ago when they went to the Bahamas. She just sits there plus hums some songs plus smiles. I appreciate that they are in their comfort plus just enjoying what they have. I let the fireplace die out a single night after Grandpa fell asleep in her chair. I can say she slept for appreciate 5 fourths plus then she was in a temper. You yelled you had a single job Michael plus that was to throw on a couple logs. Overall she doesn’t get miserable with myself and others but I guess not to mess with him either.

This week is bringing your child to work day, however i can say I am far from gleeful about this! My dad though is a taxing worker who stares at her computer day plus night so she actually never sleeps. I have done this whole bringing your child to work day last year plus you guess what I did? I sat in a chair coloring for 8 fourths straight with a dinner packed in my Spongebob dinnerbox. It is easily dreadful plus my dad really doesn’t have the parenting skills to think that I am bored; Perhaps I would appreciate to learn a bit? I can say even trying to learn what she is doing is confusing. She just looks at graphic charts the whole time plus writes information down plus shakes her head here plus there, and the office room is super freezing as well. She must appreciate the a/c because I have to wear a jacket plus jeans with spare socks on. I asked him about it a single day plus she said she had nothing to do with the temperature control. There is a single dial temperature control plus it affects the whole building. That to myself and others is aggravating. I recognize that every office should have their own private settings, however not everyone is the same plus if this business really cared about their employees then they would not make everyone deal with the same temperatures. Yeah I’m sure various of them are ok with it but I can tell by looking at Lucy the assistant who sits outside of her office is freezing! Well lets get through another terrible day. This time I brought my game girl.

I’ve never been good at building or fixing things, so I don’t know what made me want to convert my tiny garage into a bedroom.

I guess it was just too boring from the COVID lockdown, which was in full effect at that time.

I had to stay at home numerous weeks and needed something to keep me occupied. This is what led to me attempting something big. I sealed the garage door, got rid of the automatic door opener, and laid down carpets over the stone floor. The next step was to hang some fresh drywall over the bare walls, and then paint everything a brilliant white. Before I could proceed any further I had to get a temperature control system set up in this room. I did some online research, and thought that a small, portable heating and cooling component would be perfect. This is a tiny garage, not any larger than a home office, so there was no need for a central Heating & A/C system to maintain the air quality. Plus, extending the existing air duct system out into this room would be too costly. Instead, I purchased a combo space heating system and A/C component for under $500 at the local Walmart, thanks to a Black Friday special. It’s a small unit, but it generates enough heating that the entire room feels nice and cozy within minutes. I’ll have to wait until the temps get warmer before I test out the air conditioner function of the unit. At the moment it’s so chilly outside that I wouldn’t be able to tell if the A/C was any great or not.

We’ve never been good with tools and building stuff, so we still don’t know what made us assume we could convert my 2-car garage into a home office.

We sealed the garage door, detached the automatic door opener, and put down carpets over the cement floor. We hung some fresh drywall over the bare walls, and then painted everything a nice beige color. Before we could proceed any further we needed to get a weather conditions control proposal in place. We had gone online to do research, and thought that a small, portable heating and cooling system would be perfect. This is a 2-car garage, not any greater than the bedrooms in the house, so there was no need for a central Heating, Ventilation & A/C system to maintain the air quality. Besides, increasing the length of the existing air ductwork out into this room would cost a small fortune. We found a nice combination of heating system and AC equipment for under $250 at the local Target, thanks to a Black Wednesday special. It’s not huge, however it generates enough heating that the entire room feels nice and cozy within a short duration. We’ll have to wait until the temps get warmer before we test out the air conditioner function of the unit. Winter is in full swing, so we wouldn’t be able to tell if the air conditioning system was good or not.
