My husband and I spent weeks meeting with contractors and attempting to get a reasonable quote for our bathroom remodel. We wanted to completely gut our primary bathroom to create something more functional. We also wanted our new bathroom to feel like an oasis at a spa. It would be a place where we could rest and feel peace after a long day at work. The problem we were having wasn’t about the price as much as it was about getting someone who was comfortable doing a radiant heated floor installation. The two of us dreamed of having a warm and cozy floor in our primary bathroom. A lot of the contractors didn’t have experience with radiant heated floors and they were uncomfortable doing them. There were two contractors who said they were certified in radiant heated flooring, but their prices were outrageous. We anticipated the high prices for materials, but we weren’t expecting such a high price for the labor. Unfortunately, they were the only two contractors in our area who were certified and willing to install the radiant heated flooring that we wanted. After some negotiating and a little competition, we were able to get the price down a little, but not much. Looking back, I would still pay the same amount of money because our new heated floors in the bathroom are perfect and exactly what we were looking for in our spa-like bathroom. The radiant heated floors are the shining star in our house now and everyone enjoys them.

When I moved into my sister’s spare bedroom, I was just grateful for a place to stay. I was going through a horrible time in my life, but she was willing to let me stay until I got my feet back on the ground. Thankfully, I was only there for a month before I was able to move out again. While I was there though, I grew to appreciate the ductless mini split system that she had in the guest bedroom. The ductless unit ran off of electricity and it was installed directly above my bed. At first, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the ductless unit because I was used to a central AC system with air vents. I assumed that the ductless unit would be unable to cool the bedroom to my liking and that it would only cool a small, designated area. There was a tiny remote that controlled the heat and air temperatures, which made it super simple and easy to use. To my surprise, the ductless system kept my bedroom the perfect temperature, and it was easy to feel comfortable. The temperature of my bedroom was perfect during my month-long stay at my sister’s house, and I found myself missing it when I moved out. Once I got settled into my new place, I immediately purchased a ductless mini split unit for my own bedroom. I wanted to cool the space exactly as I experienced at my sister’s house and this was the only way to do it!

When it was time to replace our furnace, my husband and I had very different opinions on what we should install.

I wanted an electric furnace while he wanted a gas furnace.

We’d had an eclectic furnace in every house we’d owned and there were never any issues with maintaining them. Electric furnaces were cheaper than gas furnaces and they were low risk. Carbon monoxide poisoning was very real and it scared me to think that it could negatively impact our home. I didn’t see a reason to switch over to a gas furnace if we didn’t have to. My husband on the other hand thought we could benefit from a gas furnace. Despite the average lifespan being shorter, a gas furnace would run no matter what kind of weather we experienced. If there was a power outage, our home would still be heated because the furnace wouldn’t require electricity. This did sound ideal, but I still wasn’t a fan of introducing gas to our home. I promised my husband that I’d do my research though, so I contacted an HVAC professional and asked to speak with him about gas versus an electric furnace. He told me a lot of similar information that I already knew, but he assured me that gas furnaces were safe if serviced by an HVAC professional regularly. He also said that we could install carbon monoxide detectors that would alert us of any traces of the gas. The HVAC professional didn’t sound worried, so I felt like I didn’t have any reason to worry either.

I am not one who likes getting up at the crack of dawn.

I have always been a late night person who sleeps until mid afternoon and on the rare occasion early afternoon if I go to sleep before sunrise.

I even work a 2nd shift job. However the other month I was getting a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit for my home. And the only time that the local heating and air conditioning company could install the new HVAC unit was at the crack of dawn, which I did not like one bit, but that is the golden rule of most heating and cooling companies when it comes to installing new heat and a/c units. And by doing all of this at the crack of dawn it allows time for it to be done within a full work day without overtime needed or them having to come back and finish the following day, which would leave the customer with no heating or cooling for a night. And depending on the time of year, that would not be a good thing. So I completely understand why it has to be done this way all of the time. I just didn’t like having to go on little sleep in order to accomplish the installation of the brand new central heating and air conditioning system unit. However, at least it was scheduled on a day that I could take off from work with full pay.

I can still remember the first time I ever seen a central heating and air conditioning unit.

It was back when I was a kid and the first central heating and air conditioning unit I ever seen was in fact a very old commercial heating and cooling system that was in the back of the mall I used to hang out at with my friends when I was a kid.

Central heating and air conditioning is a common thing in most people’s homes in the country and the days of it being a rare and totally awesome thing are long gone. And that is actually a good thing! I personally do not know what I would do without central heating and air conditioning at home.

The HVAC dealership did not include installation with the purchase of the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system. I had no choice but to pay the extra money to have the heating and air conditioning professionals install the new central heating and cooling system unit. But I am so glad that I have it now and it really helps me in my daily life!

You know when I really think about it, I can say that heating and air conditioning technology has super evolved over the last few decades.

Things that were never imagined to be possible in heating and cooling technology are now a reality.

Things that we could have only seen in fantasy through sci fi movies and TV shows in heating and air conditioning technology are now possible. Things like smart thermostats for instance. Who ever imagined that a thermostat would be able to be controlled from anywhere in the world! This is thanks to the HVAC technology that made the app for cell phone and personal computer that controls the smart thermostat. Then we have things like radiant heated floors where you whole home can be heated via your floors and hot water pipes! This technology was never even imagined way back in the day. And then last but not least we have zoned heating and air conditioning systems, also known as HVAC zone control. HVAC zone control though very expensive makes it so that you can have different temperatures in every single room in your home. It is nearly like having several heating and air conditioning units all wrapped up into one! These examples are just some small tastes of where heating and air conditioning technology has taken us in the last 20 years or so. And how advanced it keeps on getting. If we have this stuff now, I can only imagine what tomorrow and the future will bring in the world of heating and air conditioning technology. But I will be on the lookout and always watching!

A friend of mine just returned from a trip to the UK.

He was saying how different and better things are over there compared to here.

One of the things he mentioned was that their central heating and air conditioning systems are even much better. He said to compare to here, their residential heating and air conditioning units are just as powerful as the commercial heating and cooling systems here in buildings and businesses. I really could not believe this because if this were the case and that were possible, I would have thought that they would incorporate that into the HVAC technology and buildings of central heating and air conditioning systems over here. But my friend insisted this was the way it felt to him. Fair deal, I can believe that maybe they were more powerful than what we have here in resident heating and cooling, but to compare to the same exact power as a commercial heating and air conditioning system I think was a bit over the top. But again, I have no idea and I can not totally rule it out because I did not feel it for myself and I was not there. So maybe my friend does have a point and maybe it is true. But I do not see myself taking any out of the country trips to the UK anytime in the near or distant future, and maybe ever. So I will never know for one hundred percent sure. But I will I guess take my friend’s word for it. He has never been known as one to lie or over exaggerate things. So maybe it is really true!

In the area in which I live the air quality seems to always get bad at night! In the day time the air quality isn’t great where I live, but it is tolerable.

• In the evening though you can bet you will have some serious problems if you have allergies.

I do have allergies. So because of this I went and invested in a whole home air purification system. The whole home air purification system has done wonders for fighting the night bad air quality that we all deal with around here. It takes a whole home air purification system to deal with it because the portable air purification systems can not even handle this kind of bad air quality. It is pointless even having one to be totally honest. Whole home air purification systems are all that can handle the bad night air quality in my area. Ever since I got a whole home air purification system I have been sleeping much better as well. Before I got the whole home air purification system I was unable to get a good night sleep with the bad air quality because I was always choking. But once the whole home air purification was purchased and installed into my home within the 2nd night of having it I had no more issues with breathing or choking. It was like a major miracle. So if you have this kind of air quality to deal with and can afford to I would suggest investing in a whole home air purification system.

I am so joyful and happy that I have a really great central heating and air conditioning system in my home.

Especially now with us going through a major heatwave! It had been one hundred and five degrees and one hundred and ten degrees off and on the last several weeks, and because I have such a great and powerful central heating and air conditioning system you actually do not know the difference that it is hot out! When you are in my house with the central air conditioning running you will have no clue in the world that outside there is deadlier than ever heat going on.

To have air conditioning that is this great is almost a miracle. But that is the greatest thing about today’s heating and air conditioning technology. In the past a central air conditioning system would have never been able to handle this kind of heat so well. I remember about 20 years ago there being a heatwave just like this and the central air conditioning system worked overtime to keep the house somewhat cool. But in order to do that you had to crank the thermostat down several degrees from what you wanted it to be. Today with the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning systems you do not have to do this any longer. It can handle the worst possible heat in the world just about. At least that is my experience with the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system that I have in my household.

I have 2 homes. One for the winter and one for the summer. The summer home of mine needs fixing before I go there in a few months. The main thing though is that the central heating and air conditioning system needs to be replaced. The current heating and air conditioning unit I have in there is on its way out and have had it for a very long time. So the first step is to go shopping for a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. I will be going up there this coming weekend to take care of this. I am hoping that I can find a brand new central heating and air conditioning system that is on sale rather than have to invest full price. The cost of central heating and air conditioning system units have gone up quite a bit in recent years. But if there is nothing on sale I will have no choice but to pay full price for the brand new central heating and air conditioning system because there is no doubt about the fact that the old one needs to be replaced. Once I get the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system taken care of, the next step is to have some repairs done to the swimming pool. That is a whole other story of its own. But once the heating and air conditioning system is replaced and the swimming pool fixed, most of everything else should be very good to go!
