I thought graduating from college a semester early before all of my friends was going to be a piece of cake.

Unfortunately it has not.

Trying to find a job before I have to pay my student loans in a couple of months has been a pain. I’ve applied to over fifty jobs, been on at least twenty interviews and still nothing! It’s ok, I’m not going to give up just yet. While I’m trying to find a job that I went to school for I’ve been working a few days of week bartending. Bartending is fun at times but on weekends it gets very busy. The tips that I make are decent and I save them on the side to start paying off my student loan. Last week I had training and the first night that I was there I was freezing. I asked the manager who was training me if the heat was on. She told me that it wasn’t and that they weren’t going to put it on until more customers showed up! I already knew from a few other people that she wasn’t a good manager. I won’t be here very long it’s only until I find a job. But what kind of manager doesn’t put their HVAC system on. I could see the thermostat from the bar. You don’t know how badly I wanted to put the temperature up high. It was set to 67 degrees but I was cold. After about an hour more people showed up. The manager went to the thermostat and flipped on the switch for the furnace to go on.

My husband and I just bought ourselves a brand new furniture set.

Our old furniture set we purchased from a garage sale about ten years ago, so we figured that it was time to upgrade our furniture set. Our bed was a queen size so some nights it wasn’t very comfortable. However these past few nights have been even more uncomfortable going to bed. It didn’t help that I was coming down with some kind of cold but I thought our new king bed was going to be much more comfortable. I was wrong. I went to bed and woke up drenched with sweat. I had a feeling that my fever broke. I decided to make sure that I saw the doctor’s the next day because I didn’t want to get even more sick. When I woke up feeling very sweaty, I couldn’t sleep. I got up, walked downstairs and turned our air conditioning on. It was the first week of spring and it was still cold out. But I couldn’t go to bed feeling hot. I switched my thermostat to cool and set the temperature down a few degrees. I went to bed somewhat relieved that the air conditioning was on. Hopefully the cool air coming out of the vents will aid to the sickness that is coming over me. However before my husband wakes up in the morning I’m going to have to shut the air conditioning off and switch it back to heat because he’s always cold. Plus I don’t want him to complain that he’s freezing when he gets out of the shower.

When I was a little kid I could sleep for hours on end, i had no complications going to bed and falling asleep instantly; Now that I’m much older it takes me a legitimately long time to fall asleep.

Normally what I willdo is if I can’t sleep i’ll go and get a drink of water or turn the TV on because for some reason the TV does help me fall asleep, and the other night I woke up and went into my family room, however when I went into the family room I saw my temperature control bconnecting, however my temperature control is situated right on the wall near my family room and family room.

The light was legitimately bright and it was different to me that the small light was flashing red. It kind of was intimidating because any type of flashing red light means something is serious. I had no idea what the flashing light meant so I went to find the temperature control manual. What I study in the manual was that the flashing light was indicating to me that the outdoor component was locked out. This means that the outdoor component is completely shut off due to an issue! Because of the issue that was going on with the outdoor unit, it sent a signal to the temperature control letting me know that there was a problem. I thought this to be a legitimately advanced piece of technology and I had no idea my temperature control could do that. It was 3 a.m. in the day and unfortunately my heating and cooling business was not open to take any service calls. I finally fell asleep and when I woke up I busy an appointment with my Heating and A/C supplier to take a look at the locked out outdoor unit.

My parents have a house that is pretty old.

They still live in the same house that I was born and raised in.

The house is about 45 years old but it is still in great condition. My parents are much older now and the things that they could do ten years ago they can’t do now. My dad used to be so strong and could carry heavy things around the house. He was very handy and did a lot of the landscaping and reconstruction of their home. Now that he’s much older he doesn’t keep up with the landscaping. I’ll go over to my parent’s house just about every weekend to do the landscaping and help them. Recently they called me up about their new HVAC system. They had an HVAC system put in last week by an HVAC technician. The other day when I was talking to my friends they told me that I should have went with the HVAC technician that I did for my parents. I asked them why and they told me that they are known for not putting in the right size HVAC system. Therefore when my parents called me the other day about how loud their HVAC system was sounding I figured that they must of had the wrong size system in their house. My parents told me that the fan was set to the lowest setting and they couldn’t even hear themselves think. I’m going to call another HVAC provider to take measurements and see if the HVAC system is oversized.

I am a stay at home mom. I decided to stay home with my children about two years ago when our youngest child was born. We thought it was best that I stay home with our two children since we didn’t want to search for a babysitter. Plus we don’t want to pay for a babysitter everyday. We thought that that could get a little pricey. When my children and I are home together I make sure that my oldest child, who is going into pre k next year, is learning. I will show her flash cards with numbers and words and I’ll teach her how to write the alphabet. I think this will be very beneficial for her before she starts school. While I was teaching my child on the floor I saw some black soot on my end table in my living room. I stopped our teaching session and looked at the other surfaces in my home, there was soot everywhere too. It looks like there is pepper all over my furniture. My furnace has been on for most of the day but I’m confused as to why there’s soot. It seems a little hazardous because we are breathing this in. I decided to call my HVAC provider to schedule an appointment with a technician. While I was waiting for him I decided to turn my HVAC system off. I’m hoping that it’s just my air ducts needing a cleaning and not some major repair. Hopefully there’s a solution so there’s no more soot circulating in our home.

The things that I honestly despise the most is cooking in addition to grocery shopping.

I always find it hard to come up with meals in addition to time to cook.

If I ever win the lottery someday I will honestly hire someone to do all my grocery shopping in addition to cooking. One of the main reasons why I’m not a giant fan of grocery shopping is the fact that while you’re there, you experience so many weird temperature swings, when I’m in the beauty aisle I beginning to feel warm. I shall look up on the ceiling when I’m in the beauty aisle in addition to i’ll see many air registers in addition to you can particularly tell it’s releasing warm air. When I go into the produce in addition to frozen meat aisle it’s a completely weird story. I shall look up at the ceiling in addition to I won’t see any air registers but I can feel the refrigerators in addition to freezers let off undoubtedly cold air. I wonder if someday grocery stores will have heating in addition to cooling systems where the temperature in the grocery store will remain the same. Maybe for the freezer part the grocery store will look into installing energy-efficient freezers, then just guess of all of the energy that is being wasted when the freezers do not have any doors on them. If this type of freezer case is changed, the grocery store will save time in addition to money in addition to maybe they can put some of that money towards a more efficient Heating as well as A/C system. Something needs to be done about the wide range of temperature swings because I can’t tell you how many other purchasers complain about how chilly in addition to warm it gets.

When our home was under construction, there was a severe rainstorm that completely flooded the first floor.

My buddy and I scheduled the construction for the driest time of year, so the random rainstorm that my unbelievable friend and I experienced was a complete shock to all the people.

There was a temporary roof on the second floor addition my unbelievable friend and I were adding, however it collapsed with the heavy rain. For the past 8 months, our home has been under construction, trying to rebuild everything that was harmd. Thankfully, my unbelievable friend and I had homeowners insurance that covered everything. I wasn’t planning on remodeling my home, however the flooding left me no choice. One of the rooms that was hit the hardest was the master lavatory. My buddy and I had to unaffix everything back to the studs as well as basically start from the ground up, while picking the current finishes, my partner as well as I decided to treat ourselves to heated flooring in the lavatory. My buddy and I hated stepping out of the tub or shower onto a chilly floor. Our lavatory is naturally cooler than the rest of the home too, which made it extra difficult to get out of a overheated shower. The radiant heated flooring was the perfect luxury. One of my best friends is a single mom with two teenage boys.

Something I cherish about the college I teach at is how I have control over the control unit in my classroom, but i know a lot of teachers who work at other colleges in addition to their number one complaint is about the control unit settings.

Their rooms are either too hot or too cold, then most colleges don’t allow their teacher’s to control the temperature of their classrooms for efficiency in addition to consistency reasons! From what I’ve heard from some of the older teachers, our college wasn’t constantly like this.

The principal used to control the heat in addition to air settings for the entire building, however one year though, the teachers fought for their right to have control over the temperature settings in their room. If they were going to spend all day teaching in one room, they wanted the right to set the control unit however they satisfied. The principal agreed, however there were a few limitations. Teachers were granted access to their control unit, however they could only set the temperature between 65 degrees in addition to 77 degrees. This would keep things running efficiently. The clear lock boxes were also required to remain locked at all times in order to prevent students from altering the control unit, each teacher was given a key to the control unit lock box in addition to they were responsible for it. If a teacher couldn’t follow these instruction, then the key would be taken from them in addition to the principal would set it himself. I’m so thankful those teachers fought for our control unit freedom today. I cherish to work in a room that’s not too hot or too cold.
